Motel Policies

Tariffs:

  • All rates quoted include GST and are Non Commissionable.
  • All reservations require credit card details for authorisation.
  • Debit card online bookings will be declined.
  • Seasonal/Peak/Minimum Stay/Rates may apply.

Cancellations

  • Cancellations with 48 hours of the scheduled arrival date may incur a one night penalty charge. A 'No Show" will be treated as a late cancellation.
  • Cancellations without penalty extends to 7 days at peak periods.
  • Two Bedroom Apartment: Cancellation received within 7 days of the scheduled arrival date will forfeit the deposit. All accommodation may be charged.
  • The number of guests the unit is booked for is the number charged for at peak periods.

Check-in period is between 1pm - 9pm. Earlier Check-in by pre-arrangement only. Our Reception closes at 9pm. Please contact us if your ETA is after 9pm and we will advise unit number and key location.

Check-out is prior to 10am please. Depending on bookings we may be able to accommodate a later time upon request.

Smoking: Our motel units are all Smoke Free. If we find on your departure that you have been smoking in the unit and specialist cleaning is required, any resulting costs will be charged to you.

Pets: While we love animals, sorry our motel complex is not suitable for your pets and they are not permitted in our motel units or grounds. Should you arrive with your pet we can help you find alternative accommodation.

Accounts:Accounts are payable on departure unless prior arrangement has been made. 3% surcharge may be added to Amex payments. We do not accept cheques. We reserve the right to charge overdue and recovery fees on overdue accounts.

Changes in reservation term may result in changes to the quoted tariff rate and/or may be declined by Management and will constitute a cancellation on your part. On arrival or once you have checked in, should you advise us that you are departing ealier than your scheduled departure all accommodation may be charged at peak periods. A refund is given if accommodation is resold.

Policies are approved by M.A.N.Z. (Motel Association of New Zealand).
